We'll be excited when Aubree turns 2 so she can start attending gymnastics with Rylyn and Kelton, but until then...we keep working with her on her 'front roll' as well as how to 'jump'. I don't have her attempt at jumping on here, but here are a few attempts at her front roll. Sadly I didn't get any really good ones where she completely flips over all by herself without us standing anywhere near her.

Monkey See....Monkey DO
Here's our little Monkey (well, as you can see "my" big Monkey too) doing her Daddy monkey imitation.
Au-Bree
I couldn't quite figure out why Aubree wouldn't say her name. When she'd see photos of herself, and I ask her who it was...she'd say "RyRy" (her cousin for those of you who don't know). So...I was playing around with her the other day on her magna doodle, writing her name OVER and OVER and underlining the 'Au' then the 'Bree' and stressing it over and over. FINALLY...she must of had a click in her brain, because now when she see's her photo she'll say "Aubree" and point to herself. I wrote her name down the other day for Deedee and automatically she knew what it said. :-) Here's proof: Be sure your volume is on and UP!
Long Time No Post
It's POTTY time! No, not really...but we do keep allowing her to sit on it when she wants so hopefully she'll be ready to train this summer when I have time to work with her consistently. Ben thought this was too cute, so of course I had to take pictures to document it and embarrass her later in life! :-)
Here's our nude little Cowgirl in her daddy's hat.

And once again, but for some reason in this photo she makes me think of Kid Rock. Maybe it's the sagging pants and cool chica shades!
I don't know though...I think Kid Rock had a hat like this too! :-)
This 1st one is for Pop Pop! He's determined Aubree will have Pigtails and go fishin' with him. Well, we're really working on the pigtail part, as you can see she can now wear a pony tail! Now he'll just have to work on the fishin' part!

Even though the Super bowl game didn't go as we hoped, Aubree was still a big supporter all the way through. Here are a few pics of us on Blue Friday as well as Super Bowl day. The huge group picture is at our Elementary on Blue Friday. Notice her little #1 sign? :-) (Hopefully it'll let you click on the picture to see the larger version)
Notice how she's pointing to the Horseshoe on her outfit? When I tell her to say, "Go Colts"...she finds the horseshoe and then repeats, "Go Cos". Close enough!
She likes her Colts build-a-bear, so of course it had to be in the photo.
Everyone at school went crazy over her in her cheer leading outfit. I'm not sure what she's doing here...I guess trying out a new smile because this just isn't her best look!
She's such a cutie. I don't know what it is about her face in this picture, but I LOVE it!

Ok, first of all...PLEASE forgive the fat/blond picture of me here...the whole point is to show you a then and now photo. The outfit Aubree has on here is the 1st outfit I bought the day we found out we were having a girl. I called her my little jailbird in it then..and of course...
I still had to call her Little Jailbird in it now! Man how she has changed!

My Snow Bear
I wanted so badly to take Aubree out to play in the snow after we had our first snow fall this year, but I didn't have any decent outside coats for her. I had ordered her a pair of snow bibs, but they hadn't come in yet. :(
So...I was super excited when I got home today and they had arrived, and we still had snow!!! Yay! Here's our little bear all dressed up and ready to venture out into the cold.
She kept trying to put some of the snow in her mouth, but was unsuccessful. (see picture of her sitting down) Then she stood up and had a huge chunk of snow on her glove and was able to get some in her mouth. This picture is the face she made when she realized how "cold" snow really is! :) She even made the sound you probably just made in your head when seeing the picture! ARrggghhhhh!!!

You all know me...I have got in to editing photos to try and make them "pop"! Here's my baby doll with that adorable little look she can give.
Enjoy the video. It's short, but the very end where Aubree speaks up is perfect timing. :)

Ring Around The Rosie
Aubree loves playing Ring Around the Rosie by herself...but tonight her and daddy decided to play it a different way. Poor thing...and she just kept coming back for more!

Aubree's 18 Months Old Today!!
So, I have a few cute pictures, but then I have a few that I'm certain will embarrass Aubree in the years to come.
First of all, let me update you on her stats. She had her 18 month well baby check up today and she is officially done with shots until she turns 4 years old!! Yay!!
Weight: 20 lbs 10 ounces = 6th %tile (Whoop Whoop...this is up 1 %tile from her 15 month apt)
Height: 31 3/4 inches= 55 %tile
Ok, on to some funny photos!!
Enjoy :-)
Yep, this reminds me of a dirty old man, walking around in his underwear, scratching his @$$! Oh, and the no clothes but shoes explanation: I just bought her new shoes (DORA) and she is in love with Dora right now, so she HAD to have them on. Well, she had her jammies on and they wouldn't quite fit over the footies, so I had to strip her.
These next two pictures Crack Me UP!!! Ben had the miniature wet/dry vac out so I could clean up Aubree's car seat. Before putting it away, he reversed the tubing to blow rather than suck. She had a ball getting the windblown look!

One of Aubree's favorite things to do daily is color and play with her stickers. She had NO clue this sticker was on her nose. Too cute!!
Remember that I said she likes Dora...well, that's the hat that she HAD to put on, along with her Elmo house shoes, which she HAD to put on, and the Yo Gabba Gabba (Brobee) shirt. Can you tell what shows she likes? Actually, mainly just the music from them.
Ok, let me explain: This cake batter face was the 1st day of Aubree's last sickness, which we didn't have a CLUE what it was until half the daycare came down with the same thing, and some doctor out there (NOT OURS) was able to give a diagnosis. To make a LONG story short, let's just say this Hands, Foot, Mouth Disease was SO much worse that the H1N1. Because of the blisters in her mouth/throat...she SCREAMED for days. She didn't drink much, eat anything but ice cream or frozen ice fruit and didn't sleep unless we held her, and even then it was only 15-20 minutes at a time. Needless to say, the Aubrey/Napier household didn't get much sleep for a few nights. Finally after 4 days, Aubree started eating again and she's back to normal!

Aubree's Fun Times with Austin
Aubree's Uncle Kyle, Aunt Steph and youngest Cousin Austin came to Indiana for a week, so she got a LOT of playtime with someone similar in size! Enjoy a few pics from their stay:
You can't see the twins, but here are all of the grand kids as Santa and Mrs.Claus arrive
Here are some of the family photos from the day:

The Grand kids: Isn't Aubree's face just priceless?? :-)
MY CRAZY FAMILY
My Normal Family
This photo completely brought back NIGHTMARES of when I was a child! They used to do the same thing to me until my sides would bleed! Such torture my poor daughter will have to endure...I really DO feel sorry for her!
Ahh...yes. Papaw is definitely good for something! Here are the four gorgeous kiddos enjoying CHOCOLATE ice cream shortly before bedtime.
Aubree must miss her old car seat. I thought she was being "strangely" quite, so I went to see what she was in to. Yep...she found Austin's car seat to be a new toy.
So we have pictures of Aubree with her twin cousins taking a bath together (for future bribery!) Now we have her and Austin together. Oh the torture to come!
Isn't their hair hilarious in this one?? :-)
A shot of Austin's Cookie Monster cakes. The one on the right is his HUGE smash cake, which I'd say her enjoyed very much. You can see for yourself in the next picture!

Well, I have a TON more photos, but I've been working on this blog for way too long already. It's definitely always a good time when you get family together.
We pulled the tent back out from the basement for Austin to play with while he was here, but I think Aubree must have missed it too. She plays with it daily now!

Aubree's Sounds
I can't say it enough...we have an amazingly, smart, beautiful baby girl! She knows all her animal sounds, and even two special sounds thrown in there. So, you should hear what a Cow, Kitty Cat, Sheep, Snake, Pig, Dinosaur, Horse...and Mommy and Santa! Enjoy! :-)

50's Girl
After debating back and forth about whether Aubree should go out Trick or Treating after her rough week with the H1N1 flu...we decided to take her out for a short bit.
Before going out we headed up to Orscheln's for a costume contest. There were only 6-7 contestants, but Aubree was one of two who actually placed! There was originally only a 1st place winner, and from the different costumes there, it was OBVIOUS who would win. There was a little boy there with a handmade/homemade costume of the Statue of Liberty. He looked Awesome. I'll post a picture and you can sort of get an idea, but I didn't get a full front on shot of him. Anyhoo...he got 1st and Aubree got Runner Up. They must have liked her because they hadn't planned on giving anything out except for 1st place, but she ended up getting a black pony named Bella as her prize. Everyone got a snickers bar (which mommy enjoyed later) and a box of stickers for participating.
Then it was on to Trick or Treating with Rylyn (Foofa) and Kelton (Plex). Aubree didn't have a problem going up to the people's basket of goodies and grabbing as she pleased. There was even one house where she would grab one out, change her mind, throw it back in an grab another. The lady said..."That's a true girl..can't make up her mind!" :-)
Here are a few cute pictures from the afternoon:
Their first house!
Aubree was determined someone was going to come and open this door to give her "more"....but nope, no one home here!
Here she is going back to get something different.
Here's the 3 Amigos:
Here's one of the shots I took of Aubree since we weren't able to make it down to the Witches Walk last night to get it done professionally.
Aubree in one of her Halloween outfits. This shirt came from her California family!
