Me and Aubree before taking her up on stage.
Aubree showing off her adorable outfit to everyone. You can't see them, but Daddy, Uncle RyRy and Aunt Brandy were up front trying to get Aubree to smile Aubree was excited when she got her "Participation" ribbon You can't tell, but she was even more excited to get her 2nd place trophy. She tried to eat the head of the baby on top off. Another cute picture daddy took of the two of us after she won her trophy.

Aubree's Way of Getting on the Couch

Some Random Cute Photos

Aubree thinks she's a doggie sometimes...as you can see she wants to go in the doggie bed like they do.
Aubree with her taggie watching Yo Gabba Gabba
MONKEY SEE...MONKEY DO!! Who is that monkey crawling around?
Ahh....it's that beautiful girl of ours!!!
Aubree in her matching ladybug bathing suit and hat...right before she fell face first into the pool, "twice".
Can you tell Aubree loves stickers??
Aubree's hair kept standing straight up from rolling around on the couch so much. It's kind of hard to see since she has very little hair!

4th of July Weekend

Aubree, Ben and I went up to Marion for the 4th of July, and that's where we learned Aubree isn't scared of much. Not that we didn't already call her a daredevil, but we now know she isn't spooked by loud sounds.
Trying to get a picture of Aubree with one of her 4th of July outfiits on, WITH the headband. You can tell how long that lasted by the next picture!
Not very long...Aubree watching the fireworks from the truck since it was raining outside. She pretty much stayed focused on the lights the whole time. Aubree "driving" Papaw's truck
Aubree playing around on the blanket we had down while skeet shooting on Friday, in another one of her 4th of July outifts.
Just another cute picture. :-)
Uncle Mark playing with Aubree in between shooting rounds.
Aubree in the earmuffs we bought her to wear while we were shooting. But as you can see, she didn't care for them. She even fell asleep while we were shooting, if that tells you how bothered she was by the loud shots.

When they were both looking out the door, I had to sneak out and get a shot from the other side just to seet their cute faces!
Aubree and Caleb swimming in their float boats

I guess the PJ's I picked out for Aubree must be a little too big for her. What do you think?? :-)

Our Trip to Meskar Park Zoo

Aubree had her first experience at the zoo today, along with her Mommy, Uncle RyRy, Aunt Brandy, Kelton, Rylyn and Mamaw Deedee. I'd have to say I really don't think much of the Evansville Zoo after making many trips to the Indy Zoo when I taught up in Indy, but I guess it's better than nothing. Here are a couple pictures from the day. If you'd like to see more, click the link below. I tried to add captions in so you'd have some idea of what's going on in the photos. Enjoy our trip to the Zoo! :-) I do believe the kiddos did!

What is Papaw Teaching Her??

I know I've said it before that she's our little monkey...but GEEZ!
Ok, well, not seriously. Papaw "posed" her up there! Although, I don't doubt that she couldn't have got up there by herself.

Aubree's 1 Year Dr. Appointment

Aubree and I went to Owensboro today for her 1 year check up. She weighed in at 17.12 pounds and is 29 inches long. That puts her in the 6th Percentile for weight and 48th Percentile for height! The doctor called her "lean"...I call her a "runt" :) She will continue to be our soy baby as I tried to transition her to whole milk and it didn't go so well. The first time I tried, she cried out all night as if she was in pain...very gassy. So, I held off and tried again later. Same thing...and it constipated her for 3 days, so NO WHOLE MILK! She's definitely still lactose intolerant and will hopefully grow out of it in the next few months. The dr. said most babies usually grow out of it by 1, but Aubree tends to do things a little slowly, so we'll see how long it takes her.
She also had to get 4 shots and she took them like a pro. She didn't even flinch for the first two shots, but the 3rd one must have stung because she let out a yelp like no other. She cried for a whole 10 seconds and then was over it. That's always the toughest part about taking her to these "well-baby" checks, but I guess that's a part of life and I'm certain there'll be many times when I will be there to comfort her when she's in pain. I just hate hearing her cry when I know it's "real". Below are a few photos from her actual Birthday Day and from her cousin Alivia's B-day Party:
Aubree and the twins playing after Cake and Ice cream

I think Kelton enjoyed the cake WAY more than Aubree!

Aubree and her messy face, not giving the spoon back.
