Aubree Enjoying A Valentine

Daycare had a Valentine exchange, so we thought we'd let Aubree try out her 1st sucker. She loved it!! When my mom would pull it out of her mouth to say something to me, Aubree would lean over with mouth wide open trying to get the sucker back in her mouth. She definitely enjoyed it. I know what I'll be taking with me on our flight to California to make her happy if she gets restless or grouchy!

Aubree and Her New Friend Brobee

I've been to Walmart so many times checking out the toys that dance and sing to get Aubree excited. When we watch cartoons, "Yo Gabba Gabba" is one of the shows we watch...so everytime I see Brobee, I'm so tempted to buy him. Well, I finally broke down and paid the thirty crazy dollars for a silly toy. I do have to say, it was a good purchase. She's a dancer, so Brobee's upbeat music and singing really gets her moving. Here she is with her new friend Brobee. I love the last two, it looks like he's playing "Peek-a-Boo" with her.

Kissing Cousins

We finally got outside the house after being her since Monday. Way too much ice and snow for my car to go anywhere, so when mom got home, we went over to visit Ryun, Brandy, and the twins. Comes to find out, Rylyn is a kissing fool just like Aubree. It's so cute!!!! Every time she would give her a kiss, she would make the "mmmwah" sound. Aubree's 1st Experience with the Snow

Yesterday was nothing but ice, so today when I woke up and saw quite a bit of snow, I decided I HAD to take Aubree out in to it for the 1st time. Since she's not a walker or crawler yet, she couldn't do much fun stuff, so I just snapped pictures to get her first snow experience on record

So I ordered Aubree an outfit off of Ebay from Gymboree...it's suppose to be for the 4th of July, but I couldn't resist trying it on her to see how cute she would look as a USA Cheerleader! I couldn't have been more correct...she looked ADORABLE!! See for yourself!

Fasionable Aubree

Faker...

So I've got a funny story to tell, I just hope it comes out as funny in words as it did in person. Aubree has picked up a new habit...I call it her "fake" cough. When I was feeding her the other day, she was eating like normal, opening her mouth when she was ready for another bite, like usual. I guess she decided she was full, but unlike "most" babies, where they normally shake their heads no, or turn their heads away....she decides to start doing a "fake" cough. When I put the spoon up to her mouth and ask her if she wants another bite...I get this.. "hu hu...hu hu"...(imagine that being a fake baby cough). So, I thought she was just playing, but NOPE...I did it four or five more times just to see if she'd keep doing it. She had dad and Ben rolling...myself include. I wish had it on video. It just isn't the same hearing about it as it was being there. "hu hu...hu hu". :-)

Aubree's 7 Months Old Today!

Sniff...Sniff... :-( Mommy's baby girl is growing up! About a week ago we weighed her at Brandy's on their baby scale, and she weight 14.9 lbs...so I'm assuming she's definitely 15lbs by now. We go to the doctor on Monday, so I'll get an actual weight!

For Christmas, Aubree got a Ladybug doll from her uncle Ryun & Aunt Brandy. In the video, you can she how much she loves her baby doll!

As Rylyn and Kelton are getting older, dressing them alike in the cutesy stuff doesn't happen as often, so we decided to take advantage of dressing our girls likes twinks today at daycare.

It's not too often I catch Aubree smiling on the camera. She can be all smiles, but as soon as she sees the camera, she gets too interested in it to continue smiling, but rather gives her concentrating look. So, I thought I'd add a couple pictures of her actually smiling!

Aubree's Potential Boyfriends...

Growing up, there were 5 of us who always hung out together in High School... Me, Jamie, Myra, Sondra and Michelle... Oddly enough...we were actually ALL pregnant at the same time, some point in time throughout out pregnancies... So...Jamie had her son Gavyn March 17th, Sondra had her son Ayden May 13th, Michelle had her son Caleb June 12th, I had Aubree (Only Girl) June 15th and Myra had her son Luke December 1st. I've now realized that I didn't take ANY photos with my digital camera!! What a bad mommy!! I tried to just use our video camera, which also takes digital pictures, but that were awful! Here are a few that I think turned out "ok".

Aubree's Officially a John Deere Girl

Grammy bought Aubree the cutest bib overalls, and with it being 73 degrees here today, I took advantage and dressed her appropriately! :-) Later, she had on her John Deere bib too...and you can't see them, but she has on her John Deere socks as well!

Aubree Has A New Cousin

I've been meaning to show off my new nephew. Kyle and Steph became a mommy and daddy on December 12th at 5:07 a.m. California time, to Austin Skylar Aubrey! Congrats you two...or I guess I have to start saying you THREE! :-) Look at that head of hair!!!

6 Months Old

Aubree turned 6 months old on Monday...and all I can think of is where did the time go???? I took her to the dr. today for her 6 mo. appointment and her second RSV shot. I thought that would be enough (3 shots), but when I got there, they suggested she get a flu shot too. 4 SHOTS....that hurts!!! As for her stats: She now weighs 13lbs 9 ounces which is in the 8%tile range for a 6 month old and the 25%tile range for her adjusted age of 4 1/2 months She's 25.5 inches long which is in the 44%tile range for a 6 month old and the 75%tile range for her adjusted age!!! What a LONG girl! She definitely take after her daddy! She went from being in the 10%tile range to the 44...I'd say that was a big growth spurt! She still can't sit on her own, but we continue to work on that. She talks, laughs, sings constantly. Loves to be in her jumper....even when she's not in it...she tries to use you as the floor so she can still bounce. She's our little froggy right now. We can't wait to see everyone for the Holiday's!!!!

Aubree's Daycare Party

Aubree and her twin cousins had their first Daycare Christmas party today.

Acutally....this would be Aubree's 1st time opening a gift, well...trying to open that is. All of the kids kept trying to play with her gifts, so mommy must have made good choices on her gifts!!

First Bad Night...

I recently found out that Aubree's belly can't quite handle green beans. I originally tried them on her about a month ago, and she wasn't too fond of them. Daycare gave them to her again Monday, and I'm assuming the whole jar. She had a really yucky diaper shortly after getting home, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. That night, she started waking up at 10:30 screaming, so I put the binky in her mouth to soothe her. When that only lasted about 15-20 minutes, I kind of figured we'd have a bad night. Almost every 1/2 hour from then on until about 2:00 a.m., I had to keep getting out of bed to put the binky back in her mouth. Finally at 2:00 I decided to try a bottle. Right after I changed her diaper, she had an explosion!!! YUCK!! Nothing like that in the middle of the night when I'm use to her always doing her duty at daycare now. I even had to throw away the protection pad under her!!! Ugh! From 2:00-3:30 I would be able to get her back to sleep, but as soon as I'd lay her down, she'd wake right back up. So...needless to say, I finally had my first "bad" night with Aubree after having her home now for almost 5 months. Her belly ache continued until today (Wednesday). Daycare called me b/c she was having a lot of dirty loose diapers. 3 within the hour, when she also had one right before I took her there. So, I had to take her to Dr. Ress to make sure she didn't have some kind of virus...and thankfully she didn't. She got her first taste of Pedialyte and loved it! Mamaw Deedee must know her taste, because she loved the bubble gum flavor. Dr. Ress said her belly just can't handle green beans, so I'm sure it'll be awhile before we try them again....a LONG while!

Talky Girl...

Aubree has always cooed and babbled, but Monday when I picked her up from Daycare, she was a Chatter Box! She talked all afternoon, evening, and even sang herself to sleep. The next morning, she even woke up singing to herself...sooooo adorable!!

Trip to Indy

Ben and I took Aubree up for Riese's 1st b-day party, then we stayed the night at her Aunt Alissa and Uncle Jason's house. I've included a couple pictures of when she was able to get some luvin in with her grammy and cousin Nic. I couldn't resist putting a few other cute pictures from the weekend. Emalyn did a great job with her! Riese was so adorable with cake all over her face, and then there's that naked baby!! She's quite the nudist! It was about a half an hour before bath time, and I didn't want to waste a diapier, so I just let her go nude before her bath. She peed twice on the changing mat you see under her, but she had a BALL!

4 Month Photo Shoot

I had Rochelle, my favorite photographer, do another photo shoot of Aubree this weekend while she was down. :-) I've put a few of my favorites together below in a slideshow. I wanted to try the mirror idea out, but I think they'll turn out better when she can hold her head up a little better.

4 Month Update

4 Month Update on Aubree: Aubree went to the doctor on Tuesday for her 4 months shots and check-up. She new weighs 11.3 pounds and is 23 inches long. For her actual age, she's in the 5th percentile for her weight and 10th percentile for her length. For her adjusted age of 12 weeks old, she's in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. Below are a few random pictures of her this past week!
