First Bad Night...

I recently found out that Aubree's belly can't quite handle green beans. I originally tried them on her about a month ago, and she wasn't too fond of them. Daycare gave them to her again Monday, and I'm assuming the whole jar. She had a really yucky diaper shortly after getting home, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. That night, she started waking up at 10:30 screaming, so I put the binky in her mouth to soothe her. When that only lasted about 15-20 minutes, I kind of figured we'd have a bad night. Almost every 1/2 hour from then on until about 2:00 a.m., I had to keep getting out of bed to put the binky back in her mouth. Finally at 2:00 I decided to try a bottle. Right after I changed her diaper, she had an explosion!!! YUCK!! Nothing like that in the middle of the night when I'm use to her always doing her duty at daycare now. I even had to throw away the protection pad under her!!! Ugh! From 2:00-3:30 I would be able to get her back to sleep, but as soon as I'd lay her down, she'd wake right back up. So...needless to say, I finally had my first "bad" night with Aubree after having her home now for almost 5 months. Her belly ache continued until today (Wednesday). Daycare called me b/c she was having a lot of dirty loose diapers. 3 within the hour, when she also had one right before I took her there. So, I had to take her to Dr. Ress to make sure she didn't have some kind of virus...and thankfully she didn't. She got her first taste of Pedialyte and loved it! Mamaw Deedee must know her taste, because she loved the bubble gum flavor. Dr. Ress said her belly just can't handle green beans, so I'm sure it'll be awhile before we try them again....a LONG while!
