We Have a 15 Month Old? How's That POSSIBLE??

WARNING.....WARNING: THIS POST IS LONG AND CONTAINS A LOT OF INTERESTING DETAILS OF OUR DAUGHTER'S LIFE. PLEASE ENJOY!
Yep...our baby girl is growing up. (sniff sniff) Aubree seems to be doing more and more everyday! She's walking, talking, climbing, being mischievous, flirts...you name it...she's doing it! I just mentioned to Ben the other day that I needed to work a lot more with her on naming more obvious things like her nose, mouth, eyes or colors too. Mom had her at the doctor yesterday and had something blue, and Aubree kept repeating over and over "boo". So, I tested it out when we were home. I handed her a blue magnet and mom gave her a blue lid...and sure enough "Boo"! :) I swear she's a little sponge! My favorite (and I know I'll regret it later) is when I see her grunting or straining, I ask her if she just pooped. She looks straight up at me and says..."poo poo" or "poop". It cracks me up, but like I said, I'm certain I'll regret it later! We went to visit Grammy and PopPop this past weekend in Marion. They kept Aubree overnight on Saturday while Ben and I went out and celebrated our 2nd Anniversary in downtown Indy. Then Sunday they brought Aubree down to Indy so we could visit with Aubree's Uncle Jason, Aunt Alissa and Cousin Nic. Jason and Alissa haven't been able to see Aubree for over a year, so I'm glad we got to spend some quality time with them! Aubree really took to Jason right off! She would ride around with him in his wheelchair and he even showed her how to maneuver it. Her being our little "tech-y" girl learned fairly quickly how make it go, turn it off and on and how to honk the horn. She was having a ball.
Below are a few pictures from the visit. First is of Jason, Alissa and Nic all with Aubree...Jason couldn't quit kissing her! It was too cute!! The next one is of Steve and Linda's two grand babies together. Then there's Jason and Aubree together doing what she loved to do while visiting. I wasn't sure if she'd be nervous about his wheelchair or not, but it didn't bother her one bit. The last photo is of Aubree modeling the new fall/winter coat and hat that Grammy got her. She looks like a little Russian girl here! :)
So, at 15 months...here's an update of Aubree's accomplishments: -Walking all on her own, but cannon stand up from a sitting position w/o having something to pull up with -Climbing anything and everything in sight -Micmics almost any word we say to her -Eats EVERYTHING in sight! All I hear all day is "bite" -Has started picking up on a few of the signs that I do with her daily -Had eartubes put in at 14 months -Weighs 19.2 lbs (5th %tile) -Is 30 3/4 inches tall (60th %tile) -Still a soy baby, but I'm going to see about switching her back to whole milk to see if she can handle it yet. -Has become a biter at daycare to the same little boy. She's only bit twice so far, but the fact that it's the same kid kinda bothers me! -Loves to dance!!!! -Makes the biggest mouth possible when "dancing", "eating", "clapping", or "pounding" on anything! Here are a couple of the pictures I took today to document Aubree's 15th month. Enjoy! :)
Doesn't she look like she's laying down modeling here??She was looking up at Papaw...he was helping me entertain her while shooting.
Lastly...I could have put a video of her waking on here, but I had a few shots in a row of her walking, so I made them into a time lapse video. She's finally learned she can pretty much go anywhere now that she can walk.
I can't say it enough, she's just TOO cute! We love her to death and couldn't imagine our lifes without her! She may try to test us at times, but I know she's just learning her limits. Happy 15 months Aubree! WE LOVE YOU!!
